The Plynlimon massif: the peat-diggings in the Glaslyn-Bugeilyn area were the source of several major
arrowhead finds in the late 19th-early 20th Century. I had the great fortune to find one myself in the summer
of 2009, photographed here as found. Several hunts since have demonstrated how incredibly rare these are
today! They date from the late Neolithic "Beaker Period" and are exquisitely made from blue-grey chalcedony.
