The Plynlimon massif: the Glaslyn Nature Reserve is situated at its northern limit, beyond which steep,
scarp-like slopes fall away down into the farmlands and woods of the Dyfi catchment. The slope is incised
at one point by a great canyon-like ravine, about 320m deep. This view is looking across the ravine from
about 2/3 of the way up its western slope, with the summit of Moel Fadian beyond.
