Spring is arguably the best time of year here in the Dyfi Valley, with woodlands and hedgerows alike ablaze with flowers and the first butterflies appearing. It's one of the best areas I know for its wayside colour at this time of year - and the raptors are active, too, with the ever-present chance of catching a spectacular aerial squabble! I've not photographed this lovely valley as much as I should have done, but the striking Bird Rock has often caught my eye whilst out following storms - it changes so much with the light! Place
